Two suspected stolen cars were found on a panel beater's property.

The Kagiso Police arrested a 26-year-old man on 9 October, for being in possession of two suspected stolen cars.

According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police, their crime prevention unit received a tip-off that two stolen motor vehicles had been traced to an address in Kagiso Extension 12.

After inspecting the cars on the property they discovered that two of the cars had been reported stolen.

A Chevrolet Aveo was reported stolen in Linden in August and a Volkswagen Caddy was stolen in Krugersdorp early in October. The man said that these cars were brought to him by clients.

The police arrested him and he was detained at the Kagiso Police Station. The cars were taken to the police store and the suspect will appear in court on 11 October.
