Man hijacked on N14 in Muldersdrift

A man who pulled off the road in Muldersdrift was hijacked by two armed men.

The Muldersdrift Police are asking anyone with information about a hijacking that occurred yesterday, 29 October, to please phone them.

A 27-year-old man was allegedly driving in his white Hyundai on the N14 when he pulled over next to one of the informal settlements to check his engine.

Suddenly two men appeared with firearms and instructed the man to get into his car and drive. After driving for a while, the men took the man out of his car and put him into a Mazda 323. They told him to lie down and took his bank cards and cash.

The men later dropped the man off at an open space between Doornkop and Braamfischerville.
