Various accidents in and around town leave two dead, many injured
On Friday there were two accidents in which two people lost their lives and various others were taken to hospital.
Various accidents occurred in and around Krugersdorp last weekend.
During the evening of Friday, 9 November, a vehicle accident on the R509 in Magaliesburg claimed the lives of two occupants while four others sustained various injuries.
According to Werner Vermaak from ER24’s communications office, ER24 paramedics and other emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after 4pm and found six people outside the car. It is believed that the passengers were thrown from the vehicle when it rolled.

Two men who were in the car had succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead on scene.
One of the occupants had critical injuries and the ER24 Oneplan Medical Helicopter was called to airlift the patient to hospital for further medical care.
Two other men also sustained serious injuries but were stabilised on the scene and then rushed to hospital for further care.
A third man sustained minor injuries and was later transported to the same hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear yet, but it is understood that no other vehicle was involved.
Just after 5pm on Friday, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Viljoen Street in Krugersdorp North. It is believed an accident occurred between a car with four occupants, and a delivery vehicle.
According to Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare Limited, all the patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital by Netcare 911 and various other ambulances for further treatment.
