Cancer walk

24 NOVEMBER — There will be a walk from the Burgershoop Community Centre to Laerskool Ebenhaeser in Krugersdorp West in support of those fighting cancer. The walk will start from 8am and upon arrival at the school, a fun event awaits, with local artists performing and a potjiekos competition. There are still stall spaces available. Gin tasting and pairing

24 NOVEMBER — Join Sandy Roberts from the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre at noon at Garden World as she takes you on a tasting journey using healing botanicals in gin. This pairing of botanicals and gin with sweet and savoury bites will inspire you to start your own herb garden. Sandy will partner with Francois and Vonmari Joubert, Michaelangelo Gold winners from the Magaliesburg Incedo Distillery. Richie’s Toy and Model Car fair

Richie’s Toy and Model Car fair not to be missed.

25 NOVEMBER — The fair, which takes place at Marks Parks Sports Club in Emmerentia, is organised by collectors for collectors and will showcase all kinds of collectible toys, trains and models, which will be for sale. Leading specialist dealers will be at the show, selling all kinds of new and old collectibles. You can find model cars, lorries, buses and airplanes, Star Wars, Dinky Toys, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi Toys, James Bond and other TV and film-related collectibles, Lego, Scalextric, model railways, teddy bears, action figures and much, much more. 27 NOVEMBER — Join Rhema West for a day of sunshine and fun with fellow golfers and special guests. Whether you are a serious golfer or a casual hacker, we are keen to spend the day with you. The very first Rhema West Golf Day will take place at the Krugersdorp Golf Course. Format of play will be a Shotgun start at 11.30am, with costs of R2 500 per fourball. Cost includes a goodie bag, green fees, two carts sharing, a halfway-house voucher and dinner where there will be an auction and prize-giving. For R2 000 you can sponsor a hole. Christmas with the Stars

Look forward to being enchanted by performers such as Frank Opperman, Liane Heyl, Wynand van Vollenstee, Michelle Botha, Hugh Mazebensa, David Louw, Lizz Meiring and many more!

29 NOVEMBER — Stars of radio, stage and screen will present a one-night-only top-class variety concert of magic tricks, singing, instrumental items, fun and surprises. Look forward to being enchanted by performers such as Frank Opperman, Liane Heyl, Wynand van Vollenstee, Michelle Botha, Hugh Mazebensa, David Louw, Lizz Meiring and many more! All proceeds going to the Theatre Benevolent Fund. Bar service will be available, with food and craft stalls. Costs are R120 for adults, R80 for pensioners and children under 14.
