Fun day out with Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund at sculpture park

The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund in partnership with the Nirox Foundation recently hosted a benefit concert at the Nirox Sculpture Park.

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, in partnership with the Nirox Foundation, recently hosted a benefit concert at the Nirox Sculpture Park in Kromdraai.

The aim of the concert was to raise funds for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, to ensure that they can continue their work. The fund mainly focuses on children and youths from birth to the age of 22 years, who come from impoverished communities, and wants to ensure the rights and well-being of all children.

The line-up included Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lu Dlamini, Qadasi & Maqhinga, The Muffinz, Urban Village & Dayne Rothbletz, Mosoeu Ketlele who recited Mzanzi nursery rhymes and the Skorokoro Ensemble.

Ayanda Khuzwayo and Mdu Makhale had some champagne in the shade.

Visitor could relax on the grass in the park, and enjoy tasty foods and drinks.
