Barry Hilton at Silverstar

30 NOVEMBER — Fresh from stellar performances in Hong Kong and Singapore, legendary SA comedian Barry Hilton will thrill the audience at Silverstar for one night only. He’s known for never going for the easy gags, cheap shots and lazy punch lines of dirty and vulgar comedy. Tickets are R150 per person and show starts at 8pm, doors open at 7pm. 1 DECEMBER — Join the fun at Key West Shopping Centre, all in aid of Walk for Rhinos, a non-profit organisation aimed at creating awareness of rhino killings. This is a whole day event which kicks off at 7.50am with registrations for the Mr and Miss Walk for Rhinos competition opening. Numerous local artists, including Riana Taljaard, Nadine Maré, Linda Kilian, South Africa’s country singer, Erika, and MC Marius Strydom will entertain visitors throughout the day. Hike the Koppies
2 DECEMBER — Join a guided group tour of up to three hours through Melville Koppies Central. The tour sets off at 3pm sharp so please arrive well in time. Park in the upper parking area at Marks Park, on Judith Road, Emmarentia, then walk across Judith to the entrance opposite. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. Children must be over six years old. No dogs allowed. Jozi Breakfast Run
9 DECEMBER — SA Torque presents its Jozi Breakfast Run Chapter 11, which will depart from The View Café in Bedfordview at 7.30am sharp and arrive at Key West Shopping Centre later during the day. All cars are welcome. Anyone who arrives late will have to catch up and meet the convoy on the road along the way (no exceptions).
