Hekpoort Police welcomes new station commander
The Hekpoort Police recently welcomed their new station commander and said that they look forward to working with him.
With a new year starting up, the Hekpoort Police Station has welcomed its new station commander, Captain DL Tefo.
Captain Tefo joined the police in 1982. He was initially stationed at the Langlaagte Police Station. His journey with the South African Police Service has been a positive one.
He was transferred to Diepkloof and eventually spent almost seven years with the provincial police department.
After a while, he settled in Krugersdorp and was part of the Social Crime Prevention unit. An opportunity to become station commander took him to Wedela, but after a few months he returned to Krugersdorp.
Recently he was appointed to the new position of station commander at the Hekpoort Police Station.
Constable Gloria Maswanganye said they wanted to welcome him and that they are all looking forward to working with him.
