School Expo
25–26 JANUARY — Key West Shopping Centre invites learners and their parents to come and learn about their local private and public primary and high schools, as well as to familiarise themselves with the special programmes, extra-curricular activities and admissions criteria before making the final decision. Entry is free. The Expo will take place in the Food Court of the mall.
Strictly No 1’s!
UNTIL 10 MARCH — Barnyard Silverstar brings you their newest show, Strictly No 1’s, running until 10 March. Strictly No. 1’s is a roller coaster ride through 60 years of the number one hit songs that made us dance, sing, cry and party ’til sunrise. The show features a 10-piece cast, along with our crazy DJ who will take you back to the hit parade number one songs on radio stations around the world. Readers and Writers Festival
26 JANUARY — Writer’s Bloc presents their Readers and Writers Festival at The Moors Castle in Muldersdrift from 10am. They will present a festival for the arts, for the travellers, for the explorers, for those who get lost in between each gap that a word represents, and embraces the emotion that is calling out. This is for the people that let their lively pens touch a piece of memory and create beauty that soars through every line. Local Market
EVERY SUNDAY — Silverstar has partnered with The Local Market to create a specialised market that promotes small business owners, artisans, musicians, designers and culinary specialists.
