Dog poisoning is a deprivation of the right to life for animals.Beware of dog poisoning in Krugersdorp, where six dogs were recently poisoned.
Five died on the scene at Moller Street and one was taken to a vet for treatment and examination. The dog was treated at the Roodekruin Vet Clinic for two days, and was lucky to survive.

After poisoning Christopher Glinka’s dogs, the suspects gained entry to his property where they stole a motorcycle.

“I saw one suspect leaving my premises. I took my gun and decided not to shoot through the window, but rather go outside to follow the suspect. When I reached the gate no one was there, meaning they had some sort of vehicle and had sped off. That is when I found my dogs dead. I was able to take the one to the vet, using the services of an Uber driver,” said Glinka.

Captain Raymond Sebonyani, spokesperson for Krugersdorp Police Station, said no one has been arrested yet, but the investigation is ongoing.
