Man sentenced 10 years for stabbing

After a thorough investigation, police apprehended a suspect for a stabbing in Munsieville. He subsequently received a prison sentence.

The Krugersdorp Police said in a statement on 1 March that 41-year-old Sello Madibo was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

It is alleged that he followed a woman to her home in Munsieville, and when he attempted to talk to her and she refused to respond, he brandished a knife. He stabbed her repeatedly in her upper body. Community members took her to a hospital and luckily she survived the attack.
