Criminals make off with stolen goods valued at R5 million

The Kagiso Police are looking for thirteen suspects who robbed a local construction business. They have made off with a substantial quantity of stolen goods and the police need the help of the community to bring these criminals to book.

The Kagiso Police are asking the community to assist them in finding the robbers who made off with stolen property to the value of R5 million.

A 52-year-old man told the police he was doing routine patrols inside the yard of the Atmei Construction premises in Tshepisong West on 16 March at 12.10am.

He alleges that he was approached by three armed men who then took his cellphone and panic button. They used his own handcuffs to cuff him to the main gate at the business’ entrance.

He noticed another ten men loading computers and cables onto a white truck and white bakkie. Then they opened a safe and took the cash that was inside. They later left the scene in the bakkie and truck.

The value of the stolen goods is estimated at R5 million.

The police are asking the community to please inform them if they see the bakkie, registration number, XMG 977 GP or the truck, registration number, XDC 876 GP.

The police are also appealing to members of the community not to confront these suspects as they are heavily armed and dangerous. Rather call the police immediately.
