Body of unknown man found – police need community’s help

The police responded to a call last week and found the body of an unknown man. They are appealing to the community to help them catch the killer.

The Kagiso Police are asking the community for assistance to find the murderer of an unknown man.

“Kagiso Police are appealing to members of the public to assist with information that could lead to the successful arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the murder of the deceased,” according to a statement by Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police.

The Kagiso Police were alerted to a murder at Block 5 in Tshepisong West, also known as Ebumnandini, on 12 April at about 9.30am.

Upon arrival the police found residents standing a few metres away from the body of a man in his early 30s.

The victim was wearing a purple T-shirt and had various injuries on his body.

The paramedics were called and certified the man dead on scene.

“No one was prepared to assist the police with information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators,” explained Sibiya.
