Learners steal principal’s laptop

The Kagiso Police were recently called to a local school where someone had stolen the principal's laptop.

Kagiso Police’s Social Crime Unit received a call about a stolen laptop at the Mafaesa Secondary School yesterday morning, 29 April.

They responded to the call with Youth Desk officers and at the school the principal pointed out two learners, a 17-year-old and 19-years-old who were suspected of having stolen the laptop.

After interrogating the two learners they confessed to the crime.

They then led the officers to an open field near the Kagiso cemetery where they had hidden the laptop.

The police retrieved the laptop and the two learners were arrested.
