[PHOTOS] Raising awareness and having some fun too for the Puzzle Foundation

The Puzzle Foundation recently hosted one of its annual luncheons to create awareness and raise funds to help parents with children who have autism.

Women of the community were treated to a fabulous luncheon by the Puzzle Foundation recently.

The Puzzle Foundation was started in April 2016, and is a organisation that aims to raise awareness about autism and to support those living with the condition, or who have an affected family member.

This was one of their annual luncheons, through which they aim to raise money to help families who have children with autism.

The guests gathered at the perfectly decorated Cultivate Boutique Venue in Krugersdorp North from early on, and were later treated to a cheese and wine lunch.

Beverley Venter, Christy Wilson and Katrina Kruger were excited to attend.

Every guest also received a goodie bag, and later in the day there was a lucky draw.

The highlight of the day was however the two special guest speakers, Sally Campher, who played Yollie in Orkney Snorkney, and Ingrid Paulus, who played Vanessa in 7de Laan.

According to the Puzzle Foundation’s website, the incidence of autism has increased in the past five years, with about one in every 50 children affected by the disorder.
