Female security officer killed

The police are asking the community for their help in catching the killer of a female security officer on Monday.

The Kagiso Police are searching for the person or persons responsible for the murder of a 34-year-old female security guard at Soul City.

According to a statement from Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police, a man from Soul City came to the station on Monday, 10 June at 6.20am to report the death of his colleague.

“Our sector members attended to the scene and found the woman lying in a pool of blood on the ground,” explained Solomon.

She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her head and body. The motive for the killing is not yet known, but is being investigated.

“The Kagiso Police are appealing to anyone with information that can lead to the successful apprehension of the perpetrators to call the Kagiso detectives,” said Sibiya.
