Traffic on the R41 in the Chamdor area near Leratong Hospital, coming from Randfontein and going towards Johannesburg, came to a standstill at about 9.30am this morning.

Unconfirmed reports of a shooting had circulated but the News has learned from the Kagiso police that a courier vehicle was attacked.
An apparent hijacking took place but no injuries were reported on scene.
Police were on the scene directing traffic and a case is being opened.
