The statement said the officers saw the vehicle, stopped it, and proceeded to search it. They asked the two men where the load of metal came from and how it came to be in their possession. The two men could not provide a proper explanation and both, one aged 32 and the other aged 36, were arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen property.

“The station commander, Brigadier Ngwako Mashao, applauded the members for a job well done,” said the statement.
