Bunny chows and armed robbery on the menu for Muldersdrift business

Three suspect fled the scene of an armed robbery in Muldersdrift on Monday.

A business in Steinsvlei, Muldersdrift was targeted by three thugs on Monday, 1 July.

It was reported that the three arrived at Plot 44 on Van Zyl Street in a navy blue Volkswagen Golf with registration number PVW 796 GP at about 1.13pm.

They went into the business and ordered three bunny chows. While the woman, 51, behind the counter prepared their food, the assailants accosted her. One of them pointed a firearm at her.

The other two robbers took an undisclosed amount of money, cigarettes, a plasma television and 11 cellphones belonging to the customers on the premises.

The robbers fled the scene in the Golf which was later established to have had a false registration number.
