Donation to help kids in need at creche

Locals, charity organisations and businesses alike have put in that extra bit of work and effort this Mandela Day to show the world and those in need that they truly care. Lotters Pine is one such organisation, and in partnership with the Joint Aid Management South Africa (JAM) children’s charity, visited Lanseria to see how they can improve the well-being of some under-privileged children.

One need they quickly identified was in the nurse’s office at Rainbow Daycare. A brand new bed and quality mattress were delivered and assembled by the staff from the two organisations, thus ensuring that sick children will have a safe and pleasant place to recover when needed.
“We hope that our donation will help the Rainbow Daycare kids be more comfortable if they’re sick, so that they can recover faster and get back to playing and learning with their friends. This is a great initiative and we thank JAM for all the good work that they do at over 2 000 schools across South Africa. We need to take care of our vulnerable people, and children definitely fall into that category,” said Lotters Pine director, Armando Teixeira.
