A murder case was opened and through a preliminary investigation, the two men were arrested and detained at the Krugersdorp Police Station.

“The Krugersdorp Crime Office continued with the investigation and found that the suspects had robbed and stabbed the deceased,” said Captain Raymond Sebonyane, the Krugersdorp Police spokesperson in a statement.

The police recovered some of the stolen property, including a Sony TV, a subwoofer, a small speaker, a wooden shelf, a radio, a hairdryer, three DVDs, five DStv decoders and three microwaves.

The police found the property stashed away in a flat in the Krugersdorp CBD.

“The station commander, Brigadier Ngwako Mashao applauded the members for a job well done,” said the statement.
