Students understand why it’s important to give

They donated clothes, shoes, cleaning aids, blankets, food and toys to these organisations.

The students of UniCollege have actively been involved in doing service in the community during the cold months.

They identified three organisations in the communities of Krugersdorp, Roodepoort and Randfontein to provide service to and support during the second half of the year.

They spent time in the last few weeks at The Cradle of Hope in Krugersdorp West and at Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen in Roodepoort.

They donated clothes, shoes, cleaning aids, blankets, food and toys to these organisations.

“We felt the need to support these worthy causes by lifting the burden of poverty and giving sense to people’s lives,” said Jeandre Erasmus, Mr UniCollege 2019.

The students would like to thank Tiger Brands for their generous support of the community projects, for which they provided maize, samp and bread.
