The News has been made aware of a video doing the rounds on Facebook of a traffic officer who is stuck on the bonnet of a moving car on Robert Broom Drive, in what looks like the Rant-en-Dal area.

In the video, an unmarked minibus, similar to a taxi, is seen pulling over the car with the officer still on it. The minibus is also an official vehicle which was chasing after the car.

The incident happened yesterday, 16 September and the whole ordeal was filmed by a passenger in another car.
According to the spokesperson of the Mogale City Traffic Department, the officer on top of the vehicle is a Gauteng traffic officer.

It is not yet clear how this incident happened, but the News was informed by the Gauteng Provincial Traffic Police that a statement about what happened will be released in due course.
