The Mogale City Local Municipality would like to inform all residents, road users and businesses about a road closure on Thursday, 19 September.
The annual Open Spring Arts and Crafts Show will be taking place outside the Mogale City Museum along Commissioner Street in the CBD.
Commissioner Street between Monument and Kruger Streets will be closed to traffic from 6am to 5pm, and road users are advised to use alternative routes.
The show is aimed at providing young and upcoming local artists and crafters with an opportunity to showcase and market their work. The works that will be on display range from interior decor, fashion, pottery, beads, fine arts, crafts, knitting and wood, and stone carvings. All these works will also be for sale.
“The municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused to road users and surrounding businesses for the duration of the road closure,” said a statement by the municipality.
