Planned water outage for Azaadville today

Mogale City has sent out a statement saying there will be a planned water interruption in Azaadville.

The Mogale City Local Municipality has sent out a statement saying there will be a planned water interruption in Azaadville, today, 18 September.

“In order to resolve operational problems in our water network, it is necessary for Mogale City’s Water Services Division to replace a pressure-reducing valve that supplies water to Azaadville,” said a statement sent by the municipality.

Replacing this valve will mean that it is necessary to shut down the water supply for approximately two hours tomorrow.

The work is expected to start at 9am and continue until 11am. Due to this, the entire Azaadville neighbourhood might experience poor water pressure or no water supply during this time.

“We do not anticipate major problems beyond the two hours, but consumers are requested to limit water consumption for the time of the interruption,” said the statement.

The municipality expressed its apologies for the inconvenience.
