Pageant finalist helping the hungry

Reon le Roux opens his heart to help those in need as the finals of the pageantry competition draw closer.

Reon le Roux has a heart for charity and regularly runs projects to help those in need.

He held a food drive recently and provided a substantial dinner for about 150 people at the Tower of Life’s men’s shelter. From 7pm he handed out containers with hot vetkoek, mince and fresh fruit to quite a long queue of hungry and destitute men.

Reon is currently in the running for a local pageantry title and wanted to do as much as he could for the community while he running his campaign. He is looking for more projects to take on.
