According to Netcare 911’s Facebook page, they had to dispatch a specialised helicopter ambulance for a trauma case in Muldersdrift earlier today (14 October).
According to the Muldersdrift News and Info Facebook page, a security guard was shot in Honingklip.
It is believed that there were an attempted armed robbery and a shooting at a local business, but the robbers were confronted by armed security officers before they could rob the business.

According to reports the suspects opened fire and shot the reaction officer.
The Facebook post also states that a lookout has been circulated for four armed suspects driving a black Audi.
The injured reaction officer was airlifted and according to reports, all security companies are working with the police to find the suspects.
It is advised to phone your security company when spotting the suspects, and to not approach them.
