Two women trapped under car near Magaliesburg
Two women were trapped under a car they were travelling in on Saturday. Bystanders had to lift the vehicle off the women.
Two women were trapped under a car after it had rolled.
According to a statement from Netcare 911’s spokesperson, Shaun Herbst, their paramedics responded to a report of an accident on the R24 Rustenburg Road about six kilometres outside Magaliesburg at 1.58pm on Saturday.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor lost control, resulting in a rollover. Two of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle, and they became trapped under it,” said the statement from Herbst.
He said that when medics assessed the scene, they found two women and three men had sustained moderate to serious injuries. Bystanders had managed to lift the car off the two women and an advanced life support paramedic was able to stabilise them before all the victims were transported to hospital by various ambulance services.
“All necessary authorities were on scene,” the statement explained.
