The Kagiso Police are asking the community to keep an eye out for a black Dodge.
In a statement sent out by Captain Solomon Sibiya, the spokesperson for the Kagiso Police, he explained that the Dodge had been seen in the area where business robberies had taken place.
The latest incident apparently took place on the corner of Tjhemba and Hoyi Street in the Joshua Doore settlement at about 1.20pm on Wednesday, 16 October.
The statement explained that the victim and his colleague were working when three people entered the shop. The ‘shoppers’ then went to the fridge and took out some energy drinks. Afterward they approached the victim and started assaulting him while demanding cash. In the process, his colleague was also attacked and stabbed with a sharp object.
Before fleeing the scene in the black Dodge, the robbers stole a number of airtime vouchers as well.
The Dodge in question’s registration number is CD 56 SC GP. Sibiya has requested anyone who has information that can lead to the successful arrest of the three suspects to contact the Kagiso Police.
Their numbers are 011 696 9000/ 9059/ 9065/ 9067. Alternatively, you can phone the Crime Stop line on 08600 10111.
