Tavern owner wanted for shooting patrons

The man in the photo, a tavern owner, is wanted by the police after he opened fire on his patrons.

The Kagiso Police are asking the community to help them find the man pictured.

He is wanted in connection with a crime that took place in Swaneville on 8 October.

According to a statement from the police, two people were shot and wounded at about 11.45pm on 8 October, when the owner of a tavern opened fire on his patrons.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to please phone the Kagiso Police on 011 696 9000/ 9059/ 9065. The public can also phone the investigating officer, Sergeant Dineo Maswanganye on 011 696 9123 or 082 698 2113, if they have information about the man’s whereabouts. Alternatively, phone the Crime Stop line on 08600 10111.
