[PHOTOS] Foam run fun!

UniCollege in Krugersdorp hosted its annual fun run and raised funds for a charity they really care about.

Friends, students, staff and lecturers took to the streets for an exciting day and fun run of 5km at UniCollege. The main section of the run was the ending in a foam-filled tent at the finish line. The cool foam was a welcoming and soothing sensation after the heated competition on the road and, as they emerged, every runner was covered from head to toe in white suds.

The funds raised during the day went to a good cause. The proceeds were handed over to the Pathways Stimulation Centre for Mentally and Physically Disabled Children.

Pathways Roodepoort is a non-profit organisation which provides stimulation for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.

UniCollege noted that it will adopt Pathways again in 2020 as one of their charity organisations.

UniCollege General Manager, Jackie Loots said: “I am immensely proud of our UniCollege students who have taken it upon themselves to create awareness of and campaign for children with disabilities”.
