Can you help police identify this man?
A man, who is believed to be homeless, was killed in a hit-and-run incident in October and police are asking the community to help them identify him.
The Krugersdorp Police are calling on the community to help them find a homeless man’s family.
In a statement, the Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Captain Raymond Sebonyane explained that the police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
The man was allegedly hit by an unknown vehicle on the corner of the N14 and Bartlett Road in Honingklip in the Cradle of Humankind.
“The man is believed to be in his early 50s and homeless. The victim was declared dead on the scene by ER24 paramedics,” the statement read.
The incident happened on Monday, 28 October 2019 at about 9.20pm and the deceased was taken to the Forensic Pathology Service Roodepoort mortuary.
