The SA Post Office would like to remind their customers who rent postboxes to renew their annual rental before the end of January.

The cost of renewal will be R40 higher from 1 February 2020.

“Postboxes are readily available and safe and they give customers access their mail at their convenience,” says the SA Post Office’s Sbu Xaba.

He also pointed out that customers do not have to pay at the branch where they rent their postbox. Postboxes and private bags can be renewed at any post office branch nationally by debit card or cash.

They can also be renewed online at www.virtualpostoffice.co.za. A year’s rent for a postbox is R535.  Pensioners can rent a postbox at a discount price of R340.
