New offering not just a feast for the eyes

The ‘steaks’ were high when Silverstar’s newest tenant opened its doors in December.

The Hussar Grill at Silverstar is the fifth restaurant of this franchise in the province and will continue to provide a discerning audience with its renowned food and wine offering, and excellent service.

The media and a select few were treated to a sampling of the menu one Tuesday evening in January.

The Hussar Grill first opened its legendary brass doors in 1964 and today, after 55 years of excellence, it is regarded as one of South Africa’s premier grill rooms. Having garnered a loyal following over the years, the restaurant is known for its speciality steaks, award-winning wine selection, superb service and warm ambiance.
