Yesterday morning, 18 February, the News received reports about something alarming occurring in Noordheuwel.
The report stated that a man was on the ground and an Apcan security company vehicle was at the scene.

The Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Captain Raymond Sebonyane was contacted for more information, but he did not respond.
Apcan posted on their Facebook page that one of their officers had caught an armed robber in the act on the corner of Shannon Road and Libertas Street in Noordheuwel. They explained that one of their vehicles was on a routine patrol when the officer saw a man pointing a knife at a woman and demanding her belongings. He allegedly wounded the woman.

The post said, “Our dedicated area response vehicle witnessed the incident and apprehended the suspect and was handed over to police”.
