No fatalities as taxi rolls on Main Reef
Several people were found seated near the vehicle.
Sixteen people were left injured this morning, 12 March, when the taxi they were travelling in rolled at the Chamdor and Main Reef Road intersection in Lewisham.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 8.40am to find the taxi lying on its side on the side of the road. Several people were found sitting near the vehicle.
Medics assessed the patients and found that 16 people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
