Dad and brother find young woman tied up, dead

When the dad came home he found his son outside. Inside he found his daughter but it was already too late to save her life.

The Krugersdorp Police released a statement saying they are investigating a case of murder at Majhuwhevho Village, Pango Camp in Munsieville. The incident happened on 12 March at about 3.20pm.

The statement, sent by Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Captain Raymond Sebonyane, said the father of the deceased told the police that he found his 13-year-old son outside the house when he came back from work. The boy looked sad and when the man went to investigate he found his 19-year-old daughter inside the house.

She was tied up with an electrical cord and her face was covered with a cloth.

“He untied her and tried to talk to her, only to find that she had passed away,” the statement read.

Police and emergency services were called, and paramedics declared the young woman dead on the scene.

“The motive behind this incident is unknown at the moment. No one has been arrested and the investigation continues,” according to the statement.

The Krugersdorp Police are now appealing to the community to assist them with information that could help with the investigation.

“Anyone who might have any information about this case may contact the police on 011 951 1151, or contact the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or via the My SAPS app to remain anonymous.”
