“We are a church where everybody is considered important. We want to instil the culture of learning, teaching and reading among our congregation, with more emphasis on young people. Hence we always host this noble event annually to encourage young people to take education seriously,” said Motaung.
The church spokesperson, Kagiso Mohulatse, said they are grateful that the event is growing in leaps and bounds, and they want to say well done to their learners for making the church and the entire community of Kagiso proud.
“We are doing this to appreciate, honour and encourage young people to be good citizens, and thereby become better people moving forward. This is part of our social programme and we are grateful for all the sponsors that came on board for the betterment of our learners within our community,” said Mohulatse.
