First two deaths due to Covid-19 confirmed in South Africa

The confirmed cases of Covid-19 in South Africa have now exceeded 1000

Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize announced the heartbreaking news that South Africa has its first two deaths due to Covid-19.

These two deaths occurred in the Western Cape. One at a Private Hospital and another at a Public Hospital.

The Department of Health will provide the public with more details later today when they confirm the latest confirmed Covid-19 cases which have increased from yesterday’s number and have exceeded the 1000 mark.
