Bekker boy’s death leaves community heartbroken
The death of one of Bekker High School’s Grade 12 learners left the community in shock and pain.
The community in Magaliesburg has been rocked by the news of a Grade 12 Bekker High School learner’s death.
This morning, 9 April, Bekker High School posted on their Facebook page that one of their learners tragically lost his life in a fatal accident earlier in the day.
“It is with great sadness that we share the tragic news this morning with our parents and learners that Johan Ellis in Grade 12 was involved in a fatal accident earlier today,” read the post.
They added that Johan was a helpful learner at school and he always had a smile on his face. He played rugby, and was part of the sound team and the youth show, among other things.
