Mogale City now has 113 confirmed cases of Covid-19
The West Rand which consists of Mogale City, Rand West City, and Merafong City now has 411 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 60 recoveries

The Gauteng Department of Health has reported that the West Rand has 411 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of 1 June with 60 recoveries.
Mogale City accounts for 113 of these cases with 42 recoveries.
The total number of confirmed cases in Gauteng is 4 567 with 2 222 recoveries. Out of a total of 14 617 contacts traced, 10 805 people have completed the 14-day monitoring period with no symptoms and have now been de-isolated.
A total number of 256 people are currently hospitalised in public and private facilities.
The breakdown per district is as follows:
Johannesburg:
- 2 175 positive cases
- 159 new cases
- 15 deaths
- 1 275 recoveries
Ekurhuleni:
- 937 positive cases
- 50 new cases
- 10 deaths
- 540 recoveries
Tshwane:
- 570 positive cases
- 34 new cases
- 4 deaths
- 319 recoveries
Sedibeng:
- 108 positive cases
- 7 new case
- 0 deaths
- 28 recoveries
West Rand:
- 411 positive cases
- 24 new cases
- 4 deaths
- 60 recoveries
Unallocated cases within the district:
- 366 positive cases
- 16 new cases
