Mogale City Licensing Centre gets green light to commence operations

The Centre has been given the go-ahead to re-open and commence with its standard full-service operations to the community.

It’s all systems go for the Mogale City Licensing Service Centre from Monday, 8 June.

The Centre did not open on 1 June as anticipated since it was pending an inspection, but the facility has been inspected by the Gauteng Department of Transport and was sanctioned as being in compliance with the required Covid-19 hygiene regulations.

The Centre has therefore been given the go-ahead to re-open and commence with its standard full-service operations to the community.

Moreover, the municipality urges members of the community to note that services will be provided as follows:

1. Operating hours will be from 7.4am to 2.45pm on Mondays to Fridays; and 8am to 11am on the first three Saturdays of every month
2. Vehicle registration and licensing services will be provided as per the norm, but with due consideration of the required hygiene standards, including social distancing
3. The following services will be provided strictly through the online eNaTIS booking system:
– Learner’s licence tests bookings
– Driving licence tests bookings
– Driving licence card renewal bookings
– Bookings for Professional Driving Permit (PRDP) applications

The public should note that all these bookings should be done through the online booking system, using the following link https://online.natis.gov.za.
It should further be noted that walk-ins for driving licence card renewals only will be allowed for people who are 60 years of age and above. These individuals will not be required to make any online bookings.

“We look forward to servicing our residents and those from outside our borders who choose to do their licensing, testing and other related service in Mogale,” a communique from Mogale’s communications department reads.
