Mogale City now has 618 confirmed cases of Covid-19

A total number of 882 people are currently hospitalised in public and private facilities in the province.

The Gauteng Department of Health has reported that the West Rand has 1 439 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of 21 June with 423 recoveries.

Mogale City accounts for 618 of these cases with 111 recoveries.

The total number of confirmed cases in Gauteng is 20 822 with 5 306 recoveries and 122 deaths.

Out of a total of 22 576 contacts traced within the province, 15 199 people have completed the 14-day monitoring period with no symptoms and have now been de-isolated.

Johannesburg:

  • 10 320 positive cases
  • 998 new cases
  • 69 deaths
  • 2 924 recoveries

Ekurhuleni:

  • 4 168 positive cases
  • 338 new cases
  • 25 deaths
  • 1 159 recoveries

Tshwane:

  • 3 166 positive cases
  • 275 new cases
  • 12 deaths
  • 690 recoveries

Sedibeng:

  • 675 positive cases
  • 69 new case
  • 8 deaths
  • 110 recoveries

West Rand:

  • 1 439 positive cases
  • 109 new cases
  • 8 deaths
  • 423 recoveries

Unallocated cases within the district:

  • 1 054 positive cases
  • 48 new cases
