Man’s body found at community hall

The police have opened a murder case after the bruised body of a man was discovered.

A passer-by discovered the body of an unknown man next to the community hall in Kagiso on 8 July.

Captain Solomon Sibiya, Kagiso Police spokesperson said in a media statement that they have opened a murder docket.

He said police found the half-naked man with bruises all over his body and an open wound in his mouth. Paramedics were called to the scene and they certified him dead. The motive for the murder is currently being investigated and the police are asking anyone who witnessed the crime, or know the perpetrator(s) involved, or who has any other relevant information to call them.
