Tipper truck rolls in Delporton

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on Bartha Street next to the Jack Taylor Airfield in Delporton at 11.19am today, Thursday 13 August.

Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, Shawn Herbst said in a statement that reports from the scene indicated that the driver of a tipper truck lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a rollover.

The adult male sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner,” said Herbst.

Once the patient had been stabilised, he was transported to hospital for further treatment.
