A woman sustained serious injuries when a motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the N14 and R563 T-junction in Krugersdorp on Sunday afternoon, 23 August.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson said they responded to reports of a collision at the said T-junction at about 2pm.

Reports from the scene indicate that a car and motorcycle where involved in a collision. Medics assessed the scene and found that a passenger from the motorcycle, an adult female, sustained serious injuries.

“The patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and once stabilised she was airlifted to hospital for further treatment.”
