Mogale City reports 7 171 confirmed cases of Covid-19
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as 9 September is 13 829, with 261 deaths and 11 450 recoveries. There are 35 new cases.

As at 9 September, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City stood at 7 171, according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown. A total of 5 847 people have recovered so far.
Rand West City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 3 657 and 2 909 cases respectively. There are 92 unallocated cases in this District as well. Rand West City and Merafong City have seen 3 096 and 2 507 recoveries respectively.
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as 9 September is 13 829, with 261 deaths and 11 450 recoveries. There are 35 new cases.
In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 11 159, with 10 189 recoveries.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 213 741 with 188 987 recoveries and 3 860deaths.
A total number of 2 535 people are currently hospitalised in public and private facilities in the province.
