Real Life Church kicks off spring with mini market

The Real Life Church promises that the mini market was the first of many to come.

The Real Life Church kicked off spring with a fun mini market – the first of many to come.

The community was invited to join them at the event held on Viljoen Street on Saturday, 5 September from 10am, not only to enjoy the first of the warm spring weather but also to see what the market had to offer.

While Benjamin Amos stood outside luring passers-by with the thought of a warm boerewors roll and a home-made brownie, the Take me Home foods team was busy preparing tasting samples for visitors.

Beautiful leather shoes, creams, yogurt, toys and hot cappuccinos were sold on the day.

Quinton and Antwanette Marais sold beautiful leather shoes.

This was a trial-run market for the church as they are planning on hosting a market on the first Saturday of every month in preparation for the big Christmas market they host every year.
