Rather late than never: K’dp man gets his R’fontein Show prize

Man from Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp was able to collect his prize as winner of the Randfontein Show ticket stub competition.

On Monday, 14 September, six months after the 2020 Randfontein Show, Gideon van Niekerk from Noordheuwel in Krugersdorp was able to collect his prize as winner of the Randfontein Show ticket stub competition.

We were still busy with much of the post-Show administration and started to put all the sponsored products for the Show Ticket Lucky Draw Competition winner together when the Covid-19 lockdown was enforced,” said Marcelle Mans, Show Coordinator.

“As such we had to put everything on hold, worked from home for several months and only recently returned to the Show office.

“When I called Gideon last week to tell him he was the lucky winner (albeit it six months later), he was thrilled. He said he bought a couple of items from the Show and ended up losing them as they fell out of his packet, so this made up for his loss.”
