Shopping, spinning and loads of winning at Key West

Key West had a Heritage Spin and Win event for shoppers who spent R200 or more at any store on Heritage Day.

Shoppers at Key West had a very special surprise waiting for them this past Heritage Day.

Those who spent R200 or more inside the shopping centre had the opportunity to spin the Shop, Spin & Win wheel, to land either on ‘Better luck next time’, ‘Try again’, ‘Sorry no luck’, or ‘Winner’.

Nellie Mthembu and Abigail Chipere manned the sheel.

Winners could then choose a product from a table of goodies to take home for free. These goodies included maize meal, Sunlight liquid, Handy Andy or a tin of food.

Just before 2pm on Thursday, 24 September, close to 200 people had already tried their luck on the wheel.

Clifford Seboko did the spinning while his dad, Relebohile Seboko, gets to carry the heavy prize.

Ayanda Mauka, Key West Marketing Manager said they wanted to reward their shoppers in this difficult time, and this was their way of giving back to the community.

Letabo Ntsie was born for game shows.

Young Letabo Ntsie spun the wheel on behalf of her parents and took home a bag of maize meal for them, while Clifford Seboko also stepped out a winner with a bag of maize meal for his family.
