In an effort to clamp down on crime, the Kagiso Police held crime-prevention operations over the weekend. One of these operations yielded great success for a young constable.

“Integrated police forces are making life uneasy for criminals in Kagiso and are leaving no stone unturned,” vowed Captain Solomon Sibiya, Kagiso Police spokesperson.
Operations continued over the weekend and the Kagiso Police station commander, Brigadier Themba Maduna said they aimed to make their presence felt.
During one of these crime-prevention operations, the young and energetic Constable Visser received a tip-off from residents which led to the arrest of a 17-year-old in Zulu Jump who was found in possession of small compressed plastic packets of dagga.
